- Normal voice
- Story telling (rapping as other people to spice it up as well)
- Relaxed / smooth singing voice on the hook
- Crazy rhymes
- Shock value
- Awesome flow
- Funny, classic Shady lyrics and overall feel
- Dre beat
Yeah, it's definitely up there for me. When I think of Eminem I think of the SSLP-TES days, because most of my favourite music is from him during that period. Now I'm not one of those people who think everything post-comeback is awful because it "isn't as good" as that previous material. I love a lot of his newer stuff and I even bump Throw It Up lol.
I think Insane gives that classic feel though. If he dropped this song today, I guarantee it'd get a lot more love than it gets right now because it's lost in the album full of "bad accents".

This just urged me to look at another song that I, myself, consider his best song since comeback. Going Through Changes off of Recovery;
-Normal Voice
-Perfect Story Telling and revisiting of past memories, hardships, and conflicts
-Nice sample song and Eminem hook
-Great Rhymes, no filler
-Closure with many things including Eminem's relationship with Kim
-Unforgettable organic and natural beat
-Four verses, all building upon and seemingly superior to the last
-Perfect Delivery
-Classic, yet modern introspection by Em's Marshall side
-Avoids all instances of incest rape
This is the song that, for me, shows me that Eminem still has it. This is the 'post-overdose' recovery song. It's like whatever Eminem was trying to do with Recovery, no matter what can be said, he nailed the message in this song. I see this as an anthem for the Recovery-era Eminem music onward. Everything about this song just hits home for me. Great beat, great lyrics, great meaning, no bad punchlines, no yelling, no filler lines.

Going Through Changes isn't my favorite song off Recovery, but in a way it could definitely be his best, if you look at each aspect of it. So yeah, you're right.
I just enjoy songs like "Cold Wind Blows", "Underground", "Untitled", "Music Box", "Stay Wide Awake" and "Almost Famous" more. But technically I think GTC probably beats them all.
