Makes you wonder how Em feels about that. It really does seem like he has always let Jimmy walk all over him, but...I dunno, I just feel like if Em is really so excited about SH, Yela, and was really as excited about Obie and the other Shady 1.0 signings as he claimed, he wouldn't just go, "Oh, well, you're Jimmy Iovine, you're my boss and you gave me my record deal and saved my life, so whatever. Suffocate their careers, do what you want."

And obviously all we can do is speculate, but it's certainly an interesting topic.

He renewed it. They would be a great independent label but it'll never happen. Shady is just so closed off to the public, so we never really know what's happening. It really pisses me off, especially when I feel I'm being starved for the music I love.
