Could be. In October, all the news outlets said the movie would begin production in early 2012, so I assume they've been working on the script and casting and all that stuff.

It seems like Antoine Fuqua who's supposed to be directing has a couple other movies in pre-production, so I wonder if it will get pushed back again. Working with DJ Premiere I wonder if Em's going ahead with an album instead.

It will. He's said all along that the only way he'd do another movie is if it interests him enough to make him walk away from his music for a few months.

And I'm very excited for Southpaw. 8 Mile was epic, and I've been waiting for Em to do another movie for a long time. It'd be twice as cool if he also made the soundtrack, like he did with 8 Mile. We got a bunch of instacassics from that.

With Mr. Porter announcing his solo project, Bizarre announcing his and appears to be beefing with Swifty on Twitter. I'd say D12 is done....for now.

It will be cool to see Em in another movie, but as someone else pointed out, the underdog boxing theme has been done to death in hollywood. If they execute it well though, it shouldn't matter. I actually always thought that "Die Hard" song that leaked awhile ago would go good with this movie.

Probably. I'm getting tired of waiting, if they said actually said that an album was not coming it would give me a sense of closure and I could come to terms with it. But Swifty keeps hyping up a mixtape that will probably consist of him, Kuniva and Fuzz with no Em to be seen until like 2015 when Em finally decides to put out an album with them.

The mixtape could have Em, a few months ago they said that Em hops on anything they work on that he likes.
