Em isn't the only artist out there who create the music & write the lyrics. Em has also gone through a lot of ups and downs in this past decade.

As far as singer/song writers, I'd go with Beatles. As far as singer/performers, I'd go with Elvis Presley.

I can't stand the Beatles, they just come off as so dull to me. Probably cuz they were pioneers, I suppose, kinda like someone like Rakim or Run DMC would sound dull to a new Hip-Hop fan.

MJ was the most liveliest performer I've ever seen, up until his death.

This. I don't like The Beatles. I find their music incredibly boring.

The fact that you guys find their music boring, doesn't make them "less complete", does it? This topic wasn't which arist you prefer? Or did I miss something?

Never said they were...there is absolutely no denying their influence on music in general. I'm just not into that type of music, sorry...

No, and none of us even slightly suggested that. In fact, if you read what I said, I reasoned with you by using Hip-Hop references.

Neither of your comments did adress the subject of this thread, "which artist is most comple". You didn't agree nor disagree? That's fine. But coming with a comment like "This. I don't like The Beatles. I find their music incredibly boring." doesn't add very much to the discussion. Thus, I was questioning if you guys (but especially "Kill You"), if that made them "less complete". Simple as that.

What the fuck, why especially me? I shared my opinion and now I'm getting shit for it. I said that I'm not denying their influence or how "complete" they are. I'm just not into their music. Christ. Never said they sucked or weren't good artists or anything.

Menzo wrote:No, the thread's subject isn't "which artist is the most complete", it was asking if Eminem is the most complete Hip-Hop artist - which I said he was. Again, read what I said.

I know he didn't clarify what genre, but I answered on the case he meant strictly rap or MUSIC. Not to mention you didn't address the topic completely either.

1st, the OP & title was initially asking if Em was "the most complete artist". It was not specifying "hip-hop artist".

And I'm aware you made your case in relation to hip hop, and I never said anything about that.

But... again. The reason I addressed your comments was because you commented that you found Beatles boring/dull. My response was basically, well what does that got to do with anything? I know you gave a theory/explaination as to why you thought as you did. Which I think is great, reflecting upon stuff in general is :y: But, it didn't really explain/argue the case related to Beatles as a "complete artist"? Which is why I asked you guys about that? But again, it was nothing more than that, nothing to get stuck on.

... No, not you, your comment. My initial "statement" was something like 'the Beatles are the "most complete" singer/songwriter group'. And your (indirect) response was something along the lines that you thought that Beatles are "incredibly boring". Thus, I was asking if that made them "less complete". Because the topic was/is about that.

No, there's dozens of quite "complete" artists. In fact, it's what Tech N9ne's name means (it was relevant this time :tounge2: )

And for the record, not only is Em not the first/only rapper to sing, but Hailies Song wasn't sung all the way through as you claim.
