What up everyone, Scrubz here with his second tape!

Now if you listen to my last cd ... well you can throw that shit in the TRASH because this tape is leaps and bounds better. :smoking:

I spent half a year working HARD on this tape, on every faset in the art of making music. Fully produced, mixed, performed, and mastered by Scrubz of TGB Productions. I wanna thank Phantom and Big Ax-D for putting their dope touches on this mixtape, they both are truly musicians. :worship:

Now to the tape, I got a bunch of ways for you to stream or download in hopes you ALL will listen. :whistle:

Well Equipped:
First thing I noticed is some hiss reduction is needed, the mid level hiss is taking away from your presense..flow is pretty good, lyrics are on point, fit the beat very well..overall pretty good track -6/10

Said And Done:
Beat is awkward lol but that’s your call..vocal quality much better this track, some played attempts at punches, flow is good..overall I think it’s a bit better than Well Equipped – 6.5/10

Get High:
I actually rolled one up to this, feelin this track man, flow was perfect for a high-pace..this one is download worthy -8.5/10

The Underground:
Your intros are all pretty similar, something to think about..sounds too much like Said And Done to me, flow and tempo are too much alike..overall its not bad, but a bit repetitive -6/10

Fucked Up:
For some reason I like the beat a lot..this one got my head noddin..LMAO “I know Im fucked up but I don’t even wanna hit it” that shit made me roll..this track is the best one so far -9/10

Somethin They Know:
Solid track here, like the switch to more of a mainstream hook, get a larger group into the music, flow is good, quality is pretty damn good..overall another download worthy track -8/10

Writers Block:
Honestly the beat is annoying at the beginning lol..this track has your most potent content so far, good flow and good quality..lyrics make this one stand out..Phantoms vocals are a bit loud, they make for a mismatch in volumes, but hes on point otherwise..good feature, overall a good track, lyrics and content were the high points here -8.5/10

Double Dutch:
Hate the beat, just bugs me lol hook is strange to say the least..I take it yall were goin for a “funky” vibe here, and you captured that, Im just not feelin it, its seems out of place on this mixtape -5/10

Gibberish:
Another awkward beat, but you made it work for the song, lyrics were good, some fillers but overall it was a solid track to end on -7/10

Overall, this was a good listen, some high point and some lows, just like any mixtape..songs I thought were the best: Get High, Fucked Up, Somethin They Know, Writers Block..and putting them in the middle really gave the mixtape the beef in the center, solid core..the early tracks seemed like you just threw them together for substance and the end is like you just wanted the mixtape to be done..but props on this, especially considering you produced all the beats yourself, dope work..once I get my equipment hooked up Id like to get a collab goin..keep it up man, you seem to know the path your on, just keep pushin

1. Shout Out (Intro)

Cool.

2. Well Equipped

Ight man, your microphone presence is obvious here, you seem to have an old school approach to your flow and delivery.

The hook is pretty cool, nicely executed flow through the track really, I sorta feel like you could of added some more shit into the track like more ads and such, well, you come off as really serious in this track is all, well, that's not a bad thing, just a bit odd is all.

3. Said & Done

I love the energy in this track!
Excellent delivery dude!

But, I would of liked to see a more varied delivery, you seem to be a bit mono.
Once again, you sound serious as fuck.

4. Get High:

Damn, I felt like doing some LSD while listening to this.
It's one of those tracks you'd bump in the background of those after hour spots.

5. The Underground

Sounds pretty cool, I'm feeling the energy, but I'm not feeling your potential energy.
I guess that doesn't really matter, you seem to be using the same flow for each track and tbh, that flow suits you the best.

6. Fucked Up

Haha, finally some humor, haha, this is pretty funny, nice ads and lyrics, I cracked up through the whole thing.

7. Somethin' They Know

Yeah, pretty cool delivery here, it comes off as a bit weird though.
Cool hook and lyrics, I liked the transitions.

8. Writer's Block
This track goes hard, I liked the verses, cool flows and vocals.
Nothing much I can say.

9. Double Dutch

Ax doesn't disappoint here, awesome track, the beat is really goofy though.
The hook sounds funny for some reason.

10. Gibberish

Trippy as hell.
It's leaning towards trip-hop a little bit.
You do a good job flowing, this track is like the night to the album's day, it's really different compared to the previous tracks.

11. Music (Outro)

Haha, cool outro, although it's sort of a freestyle/freeverse.

Overall, this album is really solid, you keep the same flow and delivery through the album and it's impressive that you managed to keep everything neat and tidy.

So yeah, I'm looking forward to some more drops later.

based off of a quick scan: said and done, writers block and get high really stood out for me. i like the sound; its controlled, not too flashy, but clean.

voice is workin well and you're pickin beats that fit the tone of your voice, which is a big plus. this is sounding like somethin i can slap on the phone for sure

02. Well Equipped

This one was a nice beginning track. You produced this? Nice! The lyrics were great as well as flow. Gave me a eerie vibe for some reason - fun to listen to. As someone said earlier, your hisses were audible, but didn't take anything away from the overall track.

03. Said and Done

Feels like I've heard this before because of the Lakers reference lol. I lol'd. Your flow was awesome on this - I need to work on mine so much that hearing you makes me wanna write a new song :y:

I liked it.

04. Get High

Beat annoyed me from the start but started to get used to it as the song went along. Your intro "Sooo highhhhh" was... ehhh, could've done without that in my opinion. But a mellow song.

05. The Underground

The piano on this song sounded off, too deep or something. I can't pinpoint it but especially at the beginning, it sounded just... wrong. Although when the actual beat came on and you started spitting it sounded great. Your voice/delivery is growing on me - it's actually really great.

06. F'd Up

This beat :y:

Fantastic. Your slow flow and multies on this was just mind blowing. Fuckin' loved this shit.

07. Something They Know

I love echoes on rap songs xD So naturally I loved this shit. Wasn't expecting this flow for a beat like this but damn, you pulled it off. Good job! Your "devoted... hold it..." etc rhyme scheme/flow was awesome, had my head nodding.

08. Writer's Block

This beat is just fucking nasty as hell. Loving it. Both flows were nice. Nothing else to say about this track other than: :y:

The second verse reminded me of something Linkin Park would do haha. But of course, 100x better, but it sounded like a LP verse.

09. Double Dutch

Interesting beat. Good lyrics/flow as always. Got a funky feeling from this haha. Just an overall interesting beat. "Drink my semen" :laughing:

Plus the chorus was catchy as hell.

10. Gibberish

GREAT way to close this mixtape. This beat sounds so simple but if you listen there's a lot of little sounds in there. Awesome. Flow was on beat and great to the ears.

Overall, a great mixtape - keep working on your shit man, I'll definitely tune in next time

well equipped - i heard a echo or ring in the track, good flow
said and done - i hated beat, lyrics are mediocre imo, good chorus
get high - 1st part sounds very annoying, sounds like raggae ish, old school beat is cool
the underground - entire song is amazing
F ed Up - beat is nice, lyrics decent, chorus is best part to tie it all in, cool topic
somthin' they know - beat automatically sounds like u put in time and effort, amazing beat
writer's block - great song, nothing i wanna diss here
double dutch - i didn't like it, sounds futuristic tho, made my ears bleed, i had to turn it off
gibberish - sounds cheesy, but the lyrics are at least lyrical here
