You must be trolling.

SHUT THE FUCK UP with this trolling nonsense!

He's not fucking trolling, he's sharing his opinion! DAMN!

Anyway, it seems like The Marshall Mathers LP lost it's "magic" over the course of the years. It just isn't as relevant as it once was. That's why I'll have to agree..

I believe The Eminem Show and Recovery are better than The Marshall Mathers LP.

Moved to Chit-Chat. Again.. please start using the correct sections.

I'm a huge Recovery fan but in which aspect of hip-hop can it be considered better than MMLP?

True that.

You can't really compare Eminem's albums due to the fact that they're so different from each other. With that, I retract my previous statement on how TES & Recovery > MMLP

I think people feel he is trolling because its the pretty much the same shit in most threads.
The 'casual fan' comment exemplified this.

And no way MMLP lost its magic. That is such a redundant point. I could say TES show lost its magic. :facepalm

Yes it is opinions but you JUSTIFY your opinions. Otherwise you are a retard or a troll.

My preference is MMLP -> SSLP -> Relapse -> TES -> Recovery -> Encore

but I dont go round saying Relapse is a better album than TES

...UNLESS I feel i could justify that statement somewhat. (which I probably couldn't, I just prefer Relapse :sweating: )

You guys may prefer recovery but If you stand it against the amazing piece of art that is MMLP and compare everything about the albums; production, delivery, flow, rhyming, concepts, consistency, content. The ONLY thing that Recovery could potentially better MMLP in is a wider range of content. (but that was not the point of MMLP anyway).
Also someone may not like the content of MMLP but that's when we are really getting into opinions.
I'm not tryin to be rude, but I sincerely wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth

Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

I think they are all pretty damn good.

MMLP- Eminem was brutal.
TES- Eminem was brutal.
Recovery- Eminem was brutal.

I'd actually rank them in my top 3 in the chronological order I just mentioned.

1. MMLP
2. TES
3. Recovery

Well, I'd make SSLP share the number 1 spot too.
:P

People dont like opinions i dont have a problem with others taste but i myself could never get into the Shock Music i became a fan from Rock Bottom and If I Had from the first Album but the rest of the tracks on the Album i wasnt keen on that kinda Music just isn't my cup of tea. I just couldn't get into that Slim Shady character.

But what you saying about liking them for diffrent reasons is spot on on. When people say they love REcovery they specfically like it for the Lyrics what is being said in the Lyrics the heart felt message and being able to connect to the tracks and personally speaking i really like the style of Hooks Eminem does in his Emotional tracks so that is another reason why i enjoy Recovery alot but those people who don't like that kinda Music tend to get sensitive and act crazy as this thread proves.
