2Pac just gets praised so much because he's dead, simple as that.

Look at Whitney Houston, total cokehead but the second she passed away people were blasting "I Will Always Love You" like they loved her. Same with Amy Winehouse. I don't mean any disrespect to any of these artists, but it's the truth.

Same.

Quick question: do you believe 2Pac is a better artist than Eminem? In terms of subject matter, influence and impact?

Influence and impact? Maybe, I think we gotta wait a little longer to see how many people are influenced by Eminem - not to mention it seems like people FROWN upon rappers who admit they like Em or hold him in high regard.

As an artist? Eminem definitely surpasses Tupac. I'm thoroughly convinced that Em is currently the only rapper that could practically rap about anything and can make it enjoyable.

His whole discography is a perfect example of such, his variety is triumphant. There are recurring themes like bitch bashing and drugs, but what rapper doesn't have that? Lol. Eminem's evolution was something phenomenal and I'm unfathomably grateful to have been able to live and witness him grow through the years and become the artist he is today.

I've always found that to be what makes him, beyond his skill and lyrical ability, the best of all-time. Simply because he can do songs about anything, in any style, and make it well. Just looking at the range of subject matter, vibes, content, etc. is undeniably more than any other artist in history.

Wait, he does?! WHAT?! SINCE WHEN?!?!?!

I can't believe Em doesn't even have the balls to admit his corniness! What a fake emcee.

lets have a lil debate, mods let me posts my shit and block me like a punk would

my name is- one of the worst song in history,

real slim shady-- sounds like he recorded this for 10 year olds.

just lose it- i dont even need to post anything about this track

fack- the worst track is rap history, if lil wayne or jigga or nas did this track, yall would be comin for their heads.. and u wonder why em doesnt get respect from real hiphop heads, its because of tracks like these

he was on drugs and roids and e pills, pffff any more excuses.. let me break down his
"classic" album for u

01. Public Service Announcement 2000

02. Kill You - 6/10 subject matter is horrendous, he says he says hes gonna be another rapper dead for poppin off, yeah im sure girls are gonna kill u... he raps some multis not a big deal if the subject matter sux, no replay value at all.. "but but but he has wordplay" who cares song sux

03. Stan (feat. Dido) 10/10 track is a gem theres no denying this, great track, story telling was top notch.. classic track.

04. Paul (The Marshall Mathers LP Skit) -

05. Who Knew lyrics -6/10 track shouldve been alot better if u go by what he says in the chorus for the first couple of lines, but the verses are the same typical eminem shock rap.. take drugs, kill women beat ur wife.. been there did that

06. Steve Berman (skit)

07. The Way I Am - 9/10 great track, concept is good, telling his fans to back off of him in public, second best on this cd

08. The Real Slim Shady - 5/10 where do i start, this is a song for kids, bottom line, its corny, typical eminem shock rap.. disses some pop stars and tries to offend ppl to get buzz

09. Remember Me? - 6/10 rbx and stickey were horrendous on this, boring track and pretty much annoying as hell.. typical em lyrics, let me say 50 cuzz words and talk about killin my mom and kim. i do not bring up word play, thats a cop out for making garbage music, this aint no freestyle its a song.

10. I'm Back lyrics - 8/10 good track, typical shock lyrics from eminem but imo its better than the rest of these same style tracks on this album.. track also has a good hook.

11. Marshall Mathers - 8.5/10 great track, couldve done without some of the shock lyrics tho and pop star disses, and yet another mom diss, lil corny to be dissin ur mom at age 28 good hook. good production

12. Ken Kaniff

13. Drug Ballad - 8/10 the title sums up the subject matter..not really my style of track but theres something about it tho which i appreciate, his wordplay is crazy, there is no denying that

14. Amityville lyrics -5/10 track is horrendous, sounds like it should be played at a circus...cant stand it and dont even wanna waste my time reviewing it, bizzare raps his typical shock rap, same can be said about em 2

15. Bitch Please II 8.5/10 great track, great guest appearances, every1 came correct on it, i thought snoop stole the show with his charisma tho

16. Kim lyrics 0/10 what a shitty track, u gonna glorify a man killing a woman, i dont care if its just a song or not, it gets no respect from me. the 0 reflect the subject matter

17. Under The Influence 5/10 maybe the worst hook in hiphop history by a major rapper. shitty subject matter, d12 flows are boring... typical em verse, do not bring up wordplay to justify this song

18. Criminal 7/10 typical em song, shock rap. wont waste 2 much time on this track

i didnt check for spelling errors or anything like that, wont waste the time to do it.. so dont bring it up, also mods post this up, dont take the easy way out... an album is about songs and song writing, not about how many multies u can rap, or how many ppl u can offend.. em was in his late 20s when he recorded this cd and this shit sounds like it was written from a 14 year olds point a view... i haven hear any1 play this in their ride since 2001...

overall i give this cd about a 6/10.. most of the songs sound the same, outside of the way i am and stan.. uve heard one cut and u damn near heard em all
