Nah, i mean just like everybody I'm sure the dude remembers the phase. But everybody forgets so much shit after time passes. Unfortunately you do not get to see how much you've forgotten, since you've forgotten it too much to know.


This is why I carry around a video camera everywhere I go. I literally record almost everything of any significance that happens during the day. Otherwise you never know when you're going to forget. And without memories, we don't exist.

What I wonder more is if he ever feels like watching some of these old stuff. I know that he doesn't use computers that much, but he probably knows how to do a YouTube search for fuck's sake. And same goes for other artists, it must be thrilling to see some old footage of yourself. At least one that is as significant as a concert performance or an award acceptance.

I'm sure if Em' had the chance to go back and look at old videos on the internet, he'd remember some of those times, but most of the chaos in the first few years of fame would be a bit hard to remember even if he watched those videos from 1999-2000.
The shit happened soo fast, he even said in a interview that the first year of blowing up was a blur.

Even I still can't believe how fast it happened, I was only a kid at the time, but holy shit.
One day the kids were talking about Pokemon, and the next day, they were talking about Eminem.
After that, It was Eminem, Eminem, and Eminem all day, everyday.

Eminem did blow up rapidly, just his persona from SSLP to MMLP IMO was a drastic change, was still similar yes but it was like a new model or some shit!

I know he remembers that day at TRL for the 8 Mile promo, when the ginormous crowd made him tear up, because when they were closing down TRL he called in and told Carson that he had been crying because "the crowd wasn't quite big enough."
