Correct. (unless counting the re-mix as a different song)

Some mainsteam rap is great and some sucks. Some underground rap is great and some sucks. Just bump what you like and forget the rest.

This thread reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Isaac Asimov, he said

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

In other words, yes, everyone has opinions but no, not all opinions are equal. IF you can't back up your opinion then it isn't worth anything. Blu, making if you could validate why you liked certain artists better than others then you would get more respect. (I don't know if you do or not, I'm just going off of what vbv said.)

Sorry for this thread, I'm a bit more immature when under the influence.

I get what you guys mean, in order to earn respect you need to dish out opinions coherently.

Oh well, thread over. I resign. :b:

Don't apologize for shit. You're half right about all of this. It's just the way you conducted your arguments.

Blu wrote:that like Rick Ross, Wiz, Drake, and all em are considered "stupid", or "trolls". But those people that love Copywrite, Elzhi, Blu, Rhyme Asylum and all those "underground" folks out there, are considered the "cool", "smart" people.

Does the word opinion mean nothing on these forums? I swear this is the main reason why no one gets along here, it's because idiots keep bashing other's opinions, and it's annoying as fuck. I personally don't enjoy listening to Jedi Mind Tricks, but I love Kendrick. Suddenly, that makes me look stupid as fuck because I don't love a beloved rapper. Or how about when I bump The Chronic, sparking a blunt to "187 On An Undercover Cop", suddenly I'm being bashed for not liking Rakim.

Get your heads out of your asses. Yes, I'm keyed. SO fuck outta here with that shit.

Bitches.

you answered your own question

no, they do not. just enjoy what you like and fuck the haters, who cares what they think? do you man
How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

This is the biggest circlejerk of underground hip-hop I have ever heard. You are guys are fucking ridiculous. There is no such thing as bad music. I'm not sure how many of you are engineers out there, but it doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out that sound is subjective. Sound is fucking vibrations in your ear drum, and protip: not everyone processes music the same. Intellect has nothing to do with it. Some people don't like hearing about Copywrite, Sadistik, and Hopsin ramble about their depressing lives. There is a reason their content stops them from getting big: People like to listen to things that make them feel good. Do you guys not realize this?
