It was him trying to see which style or flow he could perfect in his sober-state, since Relapse's accents era was a failure (The LYRICS of Relapse were amazing, the execution... not so amazing). However, So Bad is probably the only useless song of Recovery. I always space out whenever I'm listening to it.

While I agree, I can definitely see how people would feel Relapse is worse than Encore. The one thing Encore has is that it feels like an Eminem album. Relapse does have a concept, but it's out there, and the accent can alienate listeners. The casual listener would probably put Encore ahead of Relapse.
