That's why no 1 know likes Jay Z you summed him up in a nut shell perfectly he Raps about Money, Cars, drug dealing gets a big name famous RnB Singer to do the Hooks and a big name Super Producer to Produce the Song.


I heard all his Albums and i honestly can't say i heard more than 2 Songs i enjoyed

No growth? Are you serious? Listen to Reasonable Doubt then listen to any of his recent stuff. There is no way you can say that. And too many horrible albums? He doesnt have any HORRIBLE albums.

Some of the worst Albums i ever heard and i have heard them all and he predominantly Raps about nothing but selling drugs, money and wealth. Those are his main topics for over 10 Albums or so. Can't relate to his Music and don't like him mainly cos of his Lyrical Content, lack of emotion and i don't think his music has replay value.

Cos a Jigga Warrior made a thread asking peoples opinion i amongst others stated why he is a wack in my opinion explained my reasons because of his poor Subject Matter, weak catalouge, lack of Substance and lack of Hook ability.

Huge difference between stating your opinion and visible hating. You can see that I didn't reply to BILI's post, and you come posting 4 times about how much do you think Jay-Z sucks IN ADDITION to millennium posts you did directed at me and InsaneTRex94. Can you see the difference?

Not hating i explained the reasons why i think he doesn't make good Music his Lyrical Content about drugs, money, cars, pimpin basically too 1 dimensional and lack of substance. Fact what others have mentioned he relies too much on RnB Singers to feature and do the Hooks on his Songs and lack of ability to craft good Hooks himself.


And finally the fact i listened to his catalouge several times and his Albums most consider his goiod work lacked replay value and found them boring


So you have to accept honest opinion is not hate just cos a lotta people don''t like him for these reasons amongst others generally feel he can't make good Music.



However he has a good Flow that is what he does best and strongest aspect he can Flow i wouldn't deny that.

As I've stated before, I'm not the biggest fan of Jay, well... I just think he's very overrated but, he still has some good lyrics and makes some good music.

The Blueprint 3 had a lot of great moments, and he was good on Watch the Throne too. So no.

Not the biggest fan but I dont think so. After all he's accomplished I dont think you can just say he fell off. It's not like he all of a sudden got whack. Rap is a young man's game, everyone starts getting older and played out, thats the nature of the beast. Once you do so much and kick so much ass, the good ones kind of semi-retire.

I'm just not into his generic re-hashed topics, elementary lyrical skill. I remember me and one of my friends watching this BBC documentary on him a few years ago and we were literally laughing at how badly they were reaching for meaning in his bars, when there was nothing there at all.

This is what his hardcore fans on here don't accept they can't accept why we don't like his Music., That amongst other reasons like his catalouge not being good enough just in my personal opinion anyway.


It can't be a coincidence so many don't like Jay Z cos of his poor Subject Matter/Content and the lack of Meaning, Cohesive Lyrics, lack of Substance in his Music. His fans seem to not be able to take the fact people find his Albums dull and boring.
