Slaughterhouse Fuse Interview (4/16)

Part of it:
Is "Hammer Dance" as commercial as you're gonna go?

Joell: "Well, that's the beauty of being signed to Shady Records, 'cause our CEO is Eminem, and you guys are all familiar with how lyrical he is, right? We're not compromising our pen to put any of our records in any direction. Now, there's bigger production, a LOT more time. We did the first album with E1 in six days. The album's gonna be larger 'cause we had a lot more time to work with, and now our resources are open 'cause we're on a label. We're in this situation because we're ill, and we're dope."

Menzo wrote:Nice :y: I'm really excited for this album, annoyed it got pushed back but I'm gonna assume it's for the best.

And when Joell says they aren't sacrificing or compromising their penmanship...I believe it.

That being said, did Royce say Crooked doesn't write his rhymes............

Yeah, Crooked doesn't write anything down.

That Crooked I doesnt write his Rhymes blew my mind as well. Not sure if it was the "ten questions" or the one in some random New York Radio station but he says that he downs some liquor, watches some t.v and vibes out. Straight after that he goes into the studio and lays it down... INSANE

I might be wrong.. but i honestly think that J.U.S.T.IC.E League are the dopest "go-to" producers (as in, working with a wide variety of projects/artists) in the game right now. That F.A.M.E joint, their production on all 6's and 7's, working with Rick Ross... dope
