I'll be using that Coachella performance as a reference, so be sure to watch it before reading what I'm about to state.

First off, his voice sounds much more menacing. Maybe the yelling did him some good, who knows? Go listen to "Forgot About Dre" and compare Eminem's squeaky, young voice to the more mature, gravely, angrier voice of today. If you were a victim to a robbing, gun pointed to your head and all, but the robber's voice sounded just like Em's old voice, you'd think it was a joke, right? Now imagine that same scenario, but with Em's current voice; those grizzly vocals would send chills down your spine.

Eminem just sounds much more threatening, and it's definitely a good thing, especially with his old songs. Anyways, I'm gonna end this thread now, as that is all I have to say.

To be fair, Em' has always had a pretty decent voice, even during his darkest times like mid-2006-2007.
It's only natural that it's gotten better now though, he's had a lot of practice lately, he must of found a way to preserve his voice strength for long periods of time like week-long tours and such.

It's not easy to do that shit, a lot of people give bad performances after long tours, but Em' nails that shit.

If theres one thing ive noticed about our Em is that he is the only rapper that I know of that can sound exactly the same live as on the original record. Ofcourse this only serves songs that are modern.
Just listen to (for example) Slaughterhouse. They just sound like a bunch of angry meathead gorillas going... well, gorillas.

His stage presence has gotten way better. He's starting to seem a little more like the old Em. Haven't been able to catch his performances because I was on a phone but now I'm at my computer and after watching those performances I'm impressed. I like him rapping like this. It's not so monotonous. Hope he continues to switch between the calm and aggressive voices, it's very interesting and entertaining. And I hope he shows it in his music some more. Adds some much needed versatility.
