But Eminem sorta strikes a chord that not many other artists do for me. Lyrically, Joe is superior in many cases, but in other aspects I like Eminem more, because as we both have established, it's opinion.

I suppose you could be attached to the actually person instead of the music as so many people on here are, which leads to people becoming apologetic about his music. I really don't see the appeal in 2011-present Eminem.

Getting way off topic here though, we're supposed to be talking about Underground. It just amazes me that people can like this song, I've actually seen someone here say that it's his best song since his come back and I can't get my mind around that. I suppose it's fans subconsciously trying to find anything that reminds them of old Eminem but that song is just sad.

So???

Beg your pardon?

I love the song because it's a badass song. Could care less about how pointless the lyrics are. It's

Underground is just a nostalgic track...Eminem going back to rapping about straight jackets and being crazy and faggots and hospitals, which used to be what he'd do to spice up his filler/"hip hop shop" tracks. He's not nearly as good with it as he used to be, but it's a cool track because it let us know Eminem's brain was really back.

Whoever wrote that is the worst kind of Eminem fan. His music means so much to him that nothing he can produce will ever be good enough. I bet he cries silent tears into his pillow after every release.
