despicable was real good but had some instances where he got his wont back down intense voice. the beginning was perfect. the reunion is a great example too and one i forgot about

The appreciation for the delivery on 'Above The Law' is just........ For me, it's a prime example of the exact opposite. And as for Em's current voice... In comparision to 2009, or even as recent as 2010, his "vocal capabilities" has declined. But most peeps here seem love the damaged-voice so... I guess, keep shouting Em!

that second line, the flow is so terribly garbage it annoys me to here it. the first line is so on point flow-wise, then that second line comes in and it's ruined.

I can't help but feel you're trying to turn a pretty average performance by Em into something it wasn't. Great it was not. The FAD verse and hook was embarrassing to say the least. His breath control was strained, his voice kept braking, the whisper was out of place and sounded stupid, and the shouting highlighted a clear lack of breath control.
Watch any of his previous performances of this track and it's effortless. This was anything but.
Furthermore he mined the hook. First kill you, lose yourself and now this? It's pathetic. If you can't match your old material don't perform it. Otherwise it's like a 40 year old karaoke night.

They didn't look better than ever at all. Em was waving his arms around nervously, and as I said the vocals were awful. Why can't Em maintain a constant flow without his voice breaking and going into shouting-whispers? He did a great job on Renegade in 2010, so I don't understand why it's so different now.

He was going back and forth between shouting and whispering on purpose.

When he crosses them when it's Dre's verse, yes I do. He's completely sober on stage, and he's a lot more aware of the pressure than he used to be when he was high. he said it himself in an interview in 2010 that getting on stage is daunting. He certainly never looks completely calm and in control of the flow.
