Yeah, but what is life without fun? Imagine if there was no music, our lives would've been so much boring, and could you stay in a club if it was all silence? Imagine if there was no sports, you wouldn't know how to play one, and again there would be yet another void of fun, if you can't watch it on TV or do it yourself. Same goes for movies and TV shows. So I think you're very wrong with saying entertainment is the last thing we need. Also the good entertainers are a unique "occurrence", and it's hard to substitute them. Everybody can be a doctor, or a lawyer; all you need to do is go through the books and classes. Entertainment requires creativity and talent, and success isn't guaranteed even if you work your ass off.
