The difference between wayne's rebirth and the eminem show (other than the obvious huge difference in quality) is that em is still rapping on the eminem show whereas wayne is just talking. Cant call it a rap album if hes not rapping and it had rock beats so thats why its classified as a rock album and the eminem show is still hip hop.

Well The Eminem Show has major rock undertones.

Em said he tried to capture the sound of classic rock from the 70s too. Which he did.

It's such a perfect blend of rock spirit and lyrical rap.

As for whether he'd do a full-on rock album... I couldn't see that happening. As in, him trying to fully sing like a rock-star. But, I think plenty more rock-fueled rap is to come.

Well, Eminem does it quite effortlessly on The Eminem Show. It's FILLED with rock-rap beats and guitars and all that shit. I think what the OP is asking is about a pure rock album...like WZRD was. Rock-rap isn't really new to Eminem.

I don't think he'll ever do a proper rock album though, and I don't want him to. I don't really like that type of music.
