They changed the online system this year. Everyone starts in Division 10 and needs a certain amount of points from 10 games to get up to 9th. From 9th upwards if you fail to gain a certain amount of points before the end of the 10 games you fall to the lower division. Obviously these amounts rise as you get further up the divisions and the people you play get harder.
By the way, can someone try to justify to me why you would play standard controls (Assisted) rather than manual? I mean I figure most don't try to learn manual or give up with it quite fast but it is so much more challenging and worth playing. I tried to go back to standard before a while back but it feels so pointless and at times even annoying, Yeah you win things easier but I personally don't feel satisfied. Not knocking anyone btw am just honestly curious.
