^How much popular he may be is, its impossible to sell something like that now.Adele's sold so much because all those old people bought her album.They got something to listen from a young singer after a long while(probably since that norah jones's album i guess).So they all bought it because they don't know how to download it through internet.

Recovery was as mainstream as he can get.And it sold 4million(which is incredible for a rapper now).And thats all he can do.

I don't listen to pop music much.Rolling in the deep is the only Adele's song i've listened to.I would care less about a male pop singer.

Point taken, but you never know. Like someone said, if Recovery came before Relapse, Relapse would have sold much more. I think that he will do better now that Recovery is out.

Yes, because Relapse didn't really get him back into the lights. Now that Recovery sold a shitload of copies, he has new fans ready to buy his shit. Even though they're probably the same fans as Adele and Bieber, they'll buy his new album.

Nope, but like Elision said, it's not his fault. He had a massive hit first single from Recovery and it still didn't sell a million. And somehow I think his next single won't be as big as Recovery's. Em sells better than every other rapper out there though, so that makes up for it. The only rapper who can compete is Lil Wayne. But everyone knows that Birdman bought all those C3 and C4 copies. Why do you think he can't pay his producers or anything else for that matter? He's broke as shit from buying all of Wayne's CDs.

Fuck them, the music comes first. I believe Em's first single for his next album is gonna be a funny one/non-serious and that will get him a bunch of haters. He's gonna rap like/similar to what he did on Richard and it'll piss those little girls off.
