I don't think we'll ever see a rapper come outta nowhere and drop his first album doing 283,000 in the first week, going on to sell 1.7 mil for his 2nd album's first week. Definitely never again for that 2nd part.

That's crazy.

It so weird cause we all in a way want the old em, still love the new em (at the very least for a minimal handful of ridiculous songs) but want a mix of the two.

I just think he can top a mill again if he does it right. He gets into a phase for each album, even his D12/BME shit, so I'm hyped for what he comes up with next. I just hope him and/or dre produce it and we instant classics (stan, the way i am, guilty conscience, sing for the moment) or amazing concepts (stan, almost famous, SFTM, white america).

which is kind of off when you think about it since d12 albums did so well, which i always assumed was because of em. but with them being so long ago and BME being new to the relapse/recovery era (mostly recovery) it seems strange

The rest of rap sucked when Em left, but it's kind of good because Em probably woulda followed the club trend (he was starting to) and became trash. Good thing he got clean.
