Fully agree. But then again, this was before Em began his "every verse I record, I will scream, beacuse... well... people seem to like it..." period. And since, his voice has been getting more and more hoarse, which can be witnessed in his live performances. HOWEVER, Em seem to have acknowledged the constructive critisism (regarding his shouting/screaming) - at least I hope so! - so I'm still optimistic for his next album.

There's too much of it coming towards him, he can't make everyone happy and still feel good about what he puts out (for all we know, he liked shouting in his songs).

Of course he can't listen to everyone. But I def would say he's listened to the general consus of his fans, critiques & "rapgurus" a couple of time since his comback. The two "highlights" being the accent and the screaming. This is my interpretation, at least.

His voice isn't hoarse, on Richard the few times he screams it doesn't sound as bad as usually. And that Love me performance was good too. He just likes to scream his ass off I guess.

I agree. Not Afraid would have been better if he made it with the same intensity as in this performance. His voice sounds more like his old self in this performance and the hook has more life to it. Not Afraid was good, but the way it sounded on the album could have been better.
