I think he prefers performing in front of smaller crowds. Completely understandable in my opinion.

Yeah I think so, he often promotes his albums here first (dunno why though), if I recall correctly he had performed "We Made You" and "3AM" for "Le Grand Journal" before he started doing those songs live anywhere else

I find it awesome! No lipsyncing, no dancing. Every word is said in a good way.
And listen to his delivery in the 3rd verse, amazing! So calm, and nice.

...Is even better, and amazing. The intensity of that close-up and the piano and the soft-angry thing there is awesome. Both performances just go to show how much better "Not Afraid" could have been with real production / his own production.

Holy damn! I can't believe I never saw that performance! I got goosebumps listening to this. The live drums were out of this world and I loved the way he uses his voice in Not Afraid.
I loved the "shhhhh" sound right after he says "he's still shittin'", the effect is very cool because "shit" is being censured.
