Was Em at all wrong in bringing up stuff that happened in their personal lives in dissing such an accomplished R&B legend?? Lets not just be stannish about this. Im trying to get real arguments here. What do you all really think?

still the first verse talked about her a lot throughout and in the second verse he says "Nick Cannon I wish you luck with the fuckin whore" Those are fighting words given their history together. I can see why that'd make her mad.

Like I said I think it comes down to em being insulted that she would try and deny they had a relationship which is kind of a lying bitch move, but I think it was prompted by em saying some harsh things about her when asked about the rumors of their relationship in a rolling stone interview. He said "There's truth to that. But on the whole personal level, I'm not really feeling it. I just don't like her as a person." He didnt have to put it that way. That is brutal honesty right there. She may have wanted to get back at him after that so she went about denying the relationhip and things spiraled from there.

Nope. Why would he stop doing what he's always done simply because she's a celebrity? By the time they hooked she knew exactly what kind of rapper Em was and that he had no problem putting people on blast no matter who they are. And why should she be exempt when his mother, wife, father, other rappers, critics, random celebrities aren't?

Of course, in Em's case...He likes humorous raps, which explains why he mentioned her in his songs, so it's different.

He was asked if they ever had a relationship and he was honest about it and said they did while making a slight jab at her in the process. Then she went off and tried to deny that they ever did which is basically calling em a liar.

If I dated a girl for awhile and then she tried to deny that we ever dated yeah I would be slightly pissed about it and call her out on the bullshit. Shes the one who needs to just say yeah it happened lets move on..

dont forget the video...which i think is what really pissed him off, because without the video (i assume anyway) the song says nothing that points to it being about him, while the video mocks his 8 mile stuff

I'm guessing Eminem was just joking around, and mentioned her a few times - maybe they dated, maybe they didn't - and Mariah got really pissed and made and made a whole song/music video about it because she didn't want anyone under they impression that they were together at one point. I don't think Mariah has much of a right to be pissed, he's said things that are just as bad about other people in his songs.

Honestly it makes em look bad. He has had not many beefs with real rappers he only picks on the celebs that are easy to do it to.
