Em and Mariah beef

I'm guessing Eminem was just joking around, and mentioned her a few times - maybe they dated, maybe they didn't - and Mariah got really pissed and made and made a whole song/music video about it because she didn't want anyone under they impression that they were together at one point. I don't think Mariah has much of a right to be pissed, he's said things that are just as bad about other people in his songs.

Honestly it makes em look bad. He has had not many beefs with real rappers he only picks on the celebs that are easy to do it to.

Also bear in mind that Obsessed was a big hit commercially. It was the 41st biggest song of 2009 (for comparison, Crack a Bottle was the 47th biggest song of 2009). So Obsessed was being played on the radio often for months. Millions of people were hearing the song everyday, and people loved it. It wasn't like some random mixtape song he was getting in a fuss about, it was a fairly big deal imo.

Not to say everything Em did was right, but I can understand why he felt he had to say something at the time.

I like Mariah Carey though, at least as an artist. She has lots of good songs imo.
