It's not even that...people will see "Katy Perry" and slam it before listening. I think that's what happened to a lot of people with LTWYL.

I disagree Rihanna has collabed with countless Rapprs most who have a lotta street cred as far as people that lived a diffrent lifestyle make Street Rap yet Jay Z, Jadakiss, Styles P, 2pac etc fans don't complain when they worked with RnB Singers like Rihanna

Uh, Eminem could have still made it without the Slim Shady gimmick. The majority of Em's fans enjoy his emotional music, *cough* Aftermathers *cough* more than his darker music.

If Eminem perfected Infinite a bit, it could have been the album that got him noticed. His music would have just taken a completely different route. Imagine no The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP.

You can't say "what if Infinite got noticed." The alternative would be if he didn't release the SSEP and SSLP and stayed on a similar path as Infinite or a completely new path do you think he would've made it? I think not.
