Nah, it hasn't even been two years since Recovery and he did Hell: The Sequel in 2011 too. The gap between The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show was over two years and the gap between the latter and Encore was also over two years.

To be completely honest, i actually think he has released (and has had songs released on his behalf) enough music over the last couple of years. He has remained relevant with HTS, the leaked Straight from the Lab :unsure:

, the development of his labels artirts (Yelawolf, slaughterhouse, 50 cent, LLyod banks) and a comparatively generous feature scene.

It really hasn't been all that long and I'd rather him wait to release an album that's great than rush it and fuck it all up. He does need to drop something every once and a while, do more collabs, something...he can't keep doing this forever or people will stop giving a fuck, there's a reason why Wayne sells so much...he is constantly dropping music and keeping a steady buzz. By now, people have forgotten about Em because he hardly puts shit out.

Em didn't put out anything for 4 years and Crack A Bottle went straight to number 1. He could put out an album right now and sell twice as much as Wayne. His buzz will never die.
