Damn Menzo, I feel you on how you got exposed to it young. I remember watching 8 Mile with my oldest bro on the VHS, and the one comment he made that I will always remember was: "That's Eminem's real hair color." I had blonde hair at the time, same as Em, but my oldest bro had black; so when he saw Em with black hair he was like :flutter:

Good times..

I remember my oldest cousin (who's 26 now) used to LOVE Eminem haha. He still does occasionally bump "Won't Back Down" when ever he's driving to work, but I remember when he loved "The Real Slim Shady", shit was like an anthem for him. Actually, he was the one who introduced my oldest brother, and he ended up introducing me! :worship:

My first CD was when I was about 14 Lose Yourself was all over the radio and I had just started listening to rap and that song came on all the time, Long story short I watched a couple music videos and soon went out and bought the clean version of the MMLP lol! me and my brother jammed to that CD and Now 14 for the whole year haha

2002- I was still 8 years old and my mom burned me a copy of her Eminem Show because I loved it so much and I kept asking to borrow it. She took off Drips, though. :p I listened to it that way for so long that I still usually skip Drips to this day unless I particularly want to hear it. I remember how it was like, this ultimate, forbidden thing. Sometimes when I listened to the original copy of the CD I would listen to the first few seconds of the song when they cough and stuff and then quickly change it because I was a stupidly good kid.

Good times.

Word, I was just looking through the TES booklet the other day. :flutter:

I was 11, with the Marshall Mathers LP.

I bought bootlegged copies of TES and the 8 Mile soundtrack back in '02, when I was 12. The vinyl and original CDs that I own now, I bought last year.

And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

My brother bought TMMLP, I stole it ( I was 6-7, you know, when you were a kid you stole stuff from your brother ) and I listened to it, and liked it. I didn't know the lyrics or anything, but me and my bro bought TES together in 2002. I could listen to that album for days, I was rapping White America in school. Oh fuck I miss the old days, when there was music on MTV. Poor children these days won't have the fun we had when we were kids.
