The pills made him bloated, it wasn't all fat. That's why his weight seems to fluctuate so much even though the pics are close in date.

Maybe he doesn't look so fat in the picture with the earphones because of the angle. I don't know. I thought the picture was from 08 since he doesn't look as heavier there.
