5 days ago, someone asked him which albums he was looking forward to that are coming out this year. He said Toro y Moi, Pharrell, and Eminem.

Could be nothing, but he has hung out with Em. Who knows.

Id welcome a Tyler/Em collab. Its a better direction that what Em is currently doing, Tyler is in a way more creative place.

I think you may be digging a little deep, but hey, would be cool if he had an inside scoop. You're right, they did meet and he did tell Em how much he loved Relapse. I think Odd Future and D12 would make a really fucked up track.

IDK, I think that makes it MORE reliable. Pharrell and Toro y Moi both have confirmed 2012 albums, I'm sure people in the industry know more than the public, especially if he's worked with Em at all.

News started to spread that Em was working a solo album when Royce said it on the Tim Westwood interview. Not a whole lot of people paid attention to Royce's denials afterwards so it could have come from that. Who knows with Em. He could be almost finished and just doesn't want anyone to know it. He could have an album worth of songs already but scrapped them to start over. He could say I rather use these songs for the soundtrack to Southpaw and put the movie back on the front burner. He'll keep us guessing for sure.
