Those are good lyrics but the beauty is not in his lyrics, it was the fact that he knew he was the best and he wasn't forcing anything. He wasn't thinking hard, he was just doing it. His lyrics are still good nowadays but it's his confidence and and his ego are not the same, that is not to blame but Im just pointing it out. His music is still good but he over thinks some of his songs. He puts so much energy into rhymes, he even was on 60 minutes and said he drives himself crazy. Em should focus a little bit more on themes and his attitude and swagger, and his lyrics will come more naturally. Em needs to get that I just don't give a hoot attitude back. He doesn't have to diss every celebrities under the sun, but he needs to get that attitude back where his music was magic. It's not that he doesn't have good lyricism, it's about the natural flow of his music.

I don't mind that one too much because the song is a clusterfuck of awesomeness. There's tons of energy throughout the entire verse. I'm talking more like All She Wrote. He uses a pretty calm voice and then at the end he speeds it up when the beat drops as if he can't finish it on beat. Not like earlier on in the verse when he was going double-time, that was dope. It's just the end. So annoying lol.

I know exactly what you're saying. And he even does it when he doesn't really have to, like the Richard verse. I think it's just a habit of his that he doesn't do every time, but alot of the times. He'll probably quit it eventually.

Let me just say, the first fucking three posters are morons.( And now the one above me) He's right and you're just trying to be funny. Yeah, we get it, swag is an over used word. hurr hurr. Anyway, now that I'm off my rage swag, I just need to point out that I completely agree as well, however, I do think is starting to give a fuck less. No man who cares can honestly rhyme about dicks as much as he does.

Or maybe that's the problem. See, having been in this issue before of "trying too hard" Maybe Em needs a break. A long one. Not saying retirement, (and shut the fuck if any of you mention the time between Encore-Relapse, I mean now assholes) But Em definitely needs to realize that trying to force that part of himself back isn't going to work, he needs to stop giving a fuck again naturally. Whether that'll happen or not is up to him, and the less he thinks about it, the better.

So in order for him to work harder at being a better rapper..he has to care less to an extent. Ironic, eh?

Yea. I guess once he reached the top of the mountain, his approach changed. When he was hungry, you could hear it. But once he reached the top, he changed as a person and as an artist. Oh he's still great don't get me wrong. But there is this little separation that exists between now and then. So Im not really sure what he should do. In one way I feel he should just go absolutely ape sh*t and start dissing celebrities and causing a lot of controversy. It would be a bit unexpected. I mean like on We Made You he dissed people, but nobody took his accent seriously. It's like he was just doing it to do it. The downside to this approach is that it's a risky move. But that approach was how he climbed to the top. I think if Eminem's life depended on it, he could be the real slim shady he was 11 years ago. But I think the reason it isn't happening is because he has more to lose than to gain at this point.
