Awkward/Amateur Eminem lines.

There's bound to be tons. Just lines that really stick out in a bad way, that don't sound right or seem unprofessional.

For instance, from "Stir Crazy":

Ran in the ladies room naked in a blanket
At the banquet and started to spank it (AHHH!!)
Came in the bank with a tank, fired a blank

Just seems like quite possibly ANYONE could write those lines.

Another, from "Whether or Not":

I kill for less, and dump bodies in the motherfuckin' wilderness

Once again, just seems like a pretty simple line anyone could write. Doesn't have much to it, ya know?

And finally, from "Shit On You":

Nine millimeters, five criminals pulling heaters
And spilling liters of blood like swimming pools

Err... just sounds awkward itself.

to me this thread is just because all you guys are doing is complaining about ems work. No-one is flawless 100% of the time, give the guy a break. Sure some lines arent as good as others, who cares? If it doesnt interrupt the flow to much and if it kinda rhymes then there isnt a problem with it.

Lyrics tend to look worse on paper. It's extremely important how they're delivered, and while it may seem that most people could write the same thing, only a few (no one if we consider prime Em) can flow it well. That's not to say that Em doesn't have bad lines/verses though.

I agree with those opening lines from "Stir Crazy", they're corny as hell. But that line from "Whether or Not" I think is dope, cuz he delivers it so viciously.

Anyway, i've always thought this wasn't Em standards, at least in his prime.

I actually like that line . His delivery is great on the entire song and also in this line (especially the contrast between the soft hook and the aggressive verses).
But I guess lyrical wise it isn't the most mind-blowing of lines...

It's not that hating on Em is bad, it's just that this topic is anal to the point of it being a faggots fucking gang-bang.

Not every-single line in every single rap will be perfect and make you cream your freshly ironed boxers with Em's face on them. Yes you can look at tracks like Rain Man and pick out lines to comment on the track as a whole, but picking apart perfectly good verses like Stir Crazy just highlights that you're bored and in desperate need of a good shag.
