If his 8th album is not inarguably better than Recovery...

Postby FreeSpeech » Jun 3rd, '12, 19:16

...Em should retire tbh.

Recovery, while I liked it, is about as bad as an Em album can be and have me still fuck with it. If his next album is worse, then Em has officially fallen off.

I actually agree. I like some songs from Recovery, but it's just not on the level it should had been.

Recoverys biggest flaw are the beats. Em made a mistake with all that producers. If Dre and Em produced Recovery it wouls be a lot better.

This is everything Drake does yet you made a thread praising him.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

First and foremost I want him to use a normal delivery. If that happened with Recovery, I could easily overlook the other flaws. And honestly, I loved the beats when it dropped, so I won't hate on that part.

Yea I thought recovery overall was great and refreshing, but yeah I feel like he could still top it. I think he needs to focus on straight from the heart lyrics rather than over hyped metaphors and ridin beats so much, flows like eminem show shit tbh :b:

The reason Drake is accepted for doing such terrible/bitchmade things is because that is the image he created.

Em on the other hand created a totally opposite image in his beginning and then he came out with Drake-esque songs.

Oh, and I agree with the OP.

We all need to come to terms with the fact that Eminem will never again make an album as good as his first three. I made this mistake before Recovery came out, with all the pre-hype surrounding it.

I agree I don't want any Alex Da Kid-style songs on there.

I did like Love the Way You Lie, 25 to Life (I know it's not ADK, but it's a similar style), etc. when they came out, and I still like them, but those types of songs have got so overdone now, and I was already tired of them by the time I Need a Doctor and Lighters (again, not ADK, but kind of similar style) came out.

I don't mind female hooks, I just don't want any on those ballad-style songs on his next album.

Loved Recovery still play the Album from start to finish. An Album i think so many people can relate to because of what is being said in the Lyrics and the overall Message. Only problem is the Production which was not great. Would have been even better of Em had Produced it instead.

Recovery was okay, but if Eminem can't do better than it on his next album, I'm giving up on him... I don't expect something MMLP level, but at least better than Recovery.
