Why would you want him to make an album about material posessions?

I forgot to add the not.

Edit: He's older material isn't that way but he's headed that way lately. Clarification. I mean he raps about wealth, material possessions, and bitches in his 3 newest songs. Also, people complain about a 39 year old rapping about dykes, well your 35 year old hero did it in his last officially released verse.

People complain about Em's "dyke" talk because it's boring and overplayed.

Also, Kanye's shit bangs.

But I agree with OP, Em's humor is getting old.

Yeah, also The Eminem Show overall is more mature than any album Kanye has put out. Wanna talk about being mature, Kanye's still acting like he's in high school by saying he's going to get Kris Humphries kicked off his team (which he probably doesn't have the balls to do it, so it's an empty threat as well) and to end this:

"Can’t a young nigga get money anymore?
Tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor
Can I have a bad bitch wit’out no flaws
Come to meet me wit’out no drawers?

Dinner with Anna Wintour, racin’ wit’ Anja Rubik
I told you ma’fuckers it was more than the music
In the projects one day to Project Runway
We done heard all that loud-ass talkin’, we used to it
I’m from where shorties fucked up, double-cupped up
Might even kill somebody and YouTube it

So whoever think they words affect me is too stupid
And if you could do it better than me, then you do it
We flyer than the parakeet, floatin’ wit’ no parachute
Six thousand-dollar pair of shoes, we made it to the Paris news!

Don’t talk about style, ‘cause I embarrass you
Shut the fuck up when you talk to me ‘fore I embarrass you

Can’t a young nigga get money anymore?
Tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor
Can I have a bad bitch wit’out no flaws
Come to meet me wit’out no drawers?

And the whole industry wanna fuck yo’ old chick
Only nigga I got respect for is Wiz
And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim
‘Round the same time she had fell in love wit’ him
Well, that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thing
Lucky I ain’t have Jay drop ‘im from the team

La familia, Roc Nation
We in the buildin’, but still keep it basement
Flyer than the parakeet, floatin’ wit’ no parachute
Six thousand-dollar pair of shoes, I made it to the Paris news
Don’t talk about style, ‘cause I embarrass you

Shut the fuck up when you talk to me ‘fore I embarrassed you
G.O.O.D. Music, we fresh, we fresh
Anything else, we detest, detest
Bitch-ass niggas got ass and breasts
All that said, lemme ask this quest’

Can’t a young nigga get money anymore?
Tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor
Can I have a bad bitch wit’out no flaws
Come to meet me wit’out…

Don’t talk to me ‘bout style, nigga, I’ll ma’fuckin’ embarrass you
Talkin’ ‘bout clothes, I’ll ma’fuckin’ embarrass you
Hollin’ ‘bout some hoes, I’ll ma’fuckin’ embarrass you
Way too cold, I promise you’ll need some Theraflu

(Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh) Get the Theraflu
(Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh) Get the Theraflu
(Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh, uh-uh, uh-uh)
(Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh uh) Get the Theraflu"

Kanye's ego is getting old, that's whats getting old. Kanye rapping about bitches, that's getting old, etc. etc. Realize I'm doing this because you all live by a fucking double standard and you can't even admit to it.

What's the point of putting etc? If you have things to say, say it all.

808's & Heartbreak >>

Funny that you say TES is more mature than anything Yeezy put out when TES has "Drips" and "Without Me", and "Business".

I said overall, now tell me an album where Yeezy doesn't have three songs about materialism, bitches, and humor. Name one, and it has to be a rap album. Not an R&B album intended to attract teenage girls (that says nothing about the quality so don't go ape shit).

It is def his most mature album, a few songs doesnt take away from it.

A perfect example is from that album, the second verse from square dance. He uses a humor often in the song but brings up a pretty interesting topic on being drafter and the fear of terrorism.

But white america and sftm are two of his greatest works.

Almost forgot, the end of the album he does the same thing as he did in square dance. Takes a humorous song and puts a deep twist on it at the end.

I don't want a completely serious em album but I do like his more "mature" songs more than any others: SFTM, lose yourself, rock bottom, say goodbye hollywood, going through changes, etc.

then define mature in the sense of what content you want ems music to be...unless you simply mean the exclusion of what you feel is immature.

Only mentioned it because people dick ride Eminem and Kanye West like they are the second coming of Christ. It's annoying and makes me hate these two. I mean c'mon people it gets old, no artist is perfect. Also, remember when everyone hated Justin Bieber? That was before he was associated with Kanye West. Now everyone likes him in order to make sure Kanye West isn't considered a sell out. Btw I never hated him but it's funny how some people's opinions change so fast.

Recovery is serious, but the lyrics are a bit childish at times.

But I'd rather have an album on point then something like 16 songs of Medicine Ball/Must Be The Ganja-type shit.

Errbody gon' have to accept the fact that Em' is Peter Pan.
Word is born, yo.

Tell me an album where Em doesn't talk about Kim, his daughter, or his shitty life.
