2 things you need to change in the info part in the first post:

1. The "Dare To Dream" track - Eminem only has the hook and not the instrumental for people who seem to think he's going in a dubstep direction.

2. The whole thing with DJ Premier was not true. That was all rumours. Preemo was asked how his session went and he replied saying that it was all rumours. Check out the link below

Yeah when Dare To Dream came out Jimmy Iovine only bought the hook which only has a piano melody behind it so it would be easy enough for any producer to make a beat around it.

I actually wonder what take from me was about? What I mean is, was it one song that he really wanted for an album or something else and it leaked? Was it just because of songs leaking for so many years? Was it the leaks prior to encore?

This is why I wish fans could write him a bunch of questions and have him release them all in a book.

thats what im thinking, but at the same time, why now and why not year ago. Ironically, i coulda seen him doing a full song about it (like CWYWF sorta, concept that would make sense only for him) and not make an album and then leak

But in reality, it could have simply been due to the hook and thats what came to mind as a concept for his verse and may have been something he would have never otherwise addressed.

They wanted Echo and Living Proof on the EP. They were bonus tracks and instead they made A Kiss and Reunion.

Fame was on a mixtape.

I Need A Doctor leaked like right before they dropped it (maybe provoking the release) but I think they were planning to put it out soon anyway.

The Encore bonus tracks he was PISSED about and that's why we got Rain Man, and shitty songs like that instead. He's dope on those tracks, and awful on the ones he had to go and add to the album. You can tell they're from different eras. Love You More sounds like TES and Rain Man sounds like shit mostly.

Crack A Bottle leaked, yeah, a demo I think? I dunno, don't remember. I know Dre hates the song because it leaked unfinished.

I need a doctor leaked a little more than right before it dropped i think, i honestly think that was like a month or more, but i could be wrong.

And honestly, the encore leaks were always weird to me in a sense that, if they were on the album they seemed like they wouldnt have fit the album. So unless they were actually the first 2 songs he recorded (i always thought it was only love you more and we as americans) and they leaked before he did anything else, he just then completely changed directions. But i think the versions we always got were never final final versions, they always sound unmixed in a way to me.

Also, wasn;t crack a bottle a song em didnt even want on relapse? And they made him put it on cause it leaked and ended up being #1?

And I worded the Echo & LP thing wrong. They were intended for the album, but since they leaked they made them bonus tracks. Echo wasn't even finished when it leaked since Em mentioned TI and not Royce.

Ok, thats what i thought, thanks for clearing that up. And I always took it, after hearing the leak then the final version, that TI was supposed to be on the song with them. Unless it was originally an em song he was gunna send to TI or did and he couldnt do it, and it became a BME song instead...not sure on that.

No, "Echo" and "Living Proof" were supposed to be there in place of "The Reunion" and "A Kiss".

I think Em and Royce felt bad so they decided to pump out those other two and just figured since "Echo" and "Living Proof" were already leaked and happened to be dope, they may as well send out a CDQ version (and with an edit in Em's final line in "Echo").

@Emady, I think it was an Eminem x TI track that never happened and Em used it for BME. Probably why it leaked, maybe the file was floating around through TI and stuff. Idk though haha.

well it wouldnt have leaked as just floating around tho, since it leaked with royce on the track

but i know what you mean. also, since you seem unsure, it could have been an em, ti, royce track for BME and he was first verse, TI was supposed to second, and royce third. hopefully someone on the forum sees this convo and can help us all out

it was featured in Rolling Stone tho when it leaked as a hot new track, i remember that.
