It's "Quitter." When asked about it when he was on BET with D12 in an old 2001 interview Eminem acknowledged that the song leaked before they could do anything with it.

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

It was Quitter.

I'd of never involved my crew if it wasn't for Pupils,
Peoples, whatever your backpackin, cipherin' name is
had I not opened the magazine and we what you sayin' it
I'd of never involved you, but you had to add your two pennies
Now I gotta go grab my shit list and add some new enemies
I hit the studio, and I'll admit, I had a few in me
Fuck it, I roasted you, I ain't mad at you any

He's talking about how he dissed Dilated Peoples in Quitter, and had members of D12 on the song.

Nope.

He's saying that he wasn't going to give Dilated any shine, but the song leaked. He's showing the chain of events that lead to his beef with Limp Bizkit. It starts with Everlast, goes to Dilated, and then to DJ Lethal and Limp Bizkit.

well then, and excuse my ignorance (unless i know/knew this and am being forgetful or completely forgot it altogether), if he is talking about quitter leaking, whats the issue?

I mean it was a diss track, but why is that the issue? I feel like i need an overview of this cause i'd really like to know

You mean why the beef with Bizkit?

Or why mention the song at all?

why mention the song at all. I guess, to me, with quitter being a diss track, it was made for a reason and probably woulda been released either way, unless im missing something.

but in all honesty at this point i sorta forget why the beef with bizkit happened. I think it had something to do with everlast, him and fred being friends and making turn me loose, and then something happened...which i cant remember.

It's "Quitter". In the song he gave props to Limp Bizkit while dissing Everlast (supposedly LB were supposed to be on the song but backed off at the last moment) - "back in '94 Limp opened a show for you, rocked the crowd better and stole the whole show from you".

The idea was to show how he was being attacked from all sides because people were jumping in on the beef instead of staying out, like B Real did.

The beef started with Everlast, and then Dilated started talking shit. He responded in Quitter, but wouldn't have released the song with the references to them because they were below him. Dissing them gave them exposure ("but if I help you sell one record, and I see you at a show I'll strip you naked"). He was going to do the song with DJ Lethal, but he backed out and said that Everlast would beat him in a fight ("after I gave you props on that song you on national TV/talkin bout Everlast is gonna whip my ass when he sees me?").

DJ Lethal's comments are what kicked off the beef with Limp Bizkit. The significance of that song in particular is that Lethal was supposed to be on it, and was given a shoutout, and then went on to run his mouth.
