Elision wrote:It's not about who would kill who. It's about what this song will do for hiphop. What's so beautiful about this collab is that, assuming both MC's lay down their aces, you're going to see (and from my understanding, this is a first) a perfect track. Now, let me explain what I mean by that.

Eminem's ability to link rhymes together is his own in the sense that he doesn't follow any type of rule book. Em will break a rhyme where he pleases, and then maybe only rhyme half of those syllables for a while, then drop it and either move on or pick it back up somewhere down the line. There's not many artists able to do this, and it comes from the ability to rhyme organically in your head.

Tech on the other hand is super dedicated to carrying a multi for days, and then bending/morphing the flow of it over time to keep it colorful. But never dropping the syllables. He strictly follows every rule of the craft like a black belt.

With that, you have rhyming completely locked down.

Now, as for creativity and originality.

Eminem's wordplay is unmatched. He really wants you to follow it, and is great at taking you along for the ride. This is also what makes him a great storyteller. Of course, we haven't heard much of this from him recently, but we've heard enough to confirm that he's still very capable of it given the right circumstances.

Tech has some sharp examples of wordplay, but his is very subtle and tucked underneath his bars. He wants you to go easter egg hunting. Tech also has the ability to tell stories in his rhymes, but he has a very strange (no pun intended) method for it. He still likes to lean heavily on the rhyming side of things, as opposed to painting a vivid picture. But because of this his word choice and placement is pretty enjoyable and you still get to rock your head to it. Which is something Em typically sacrifices when painting a picture.

Now, the main reason this track is going to be godly, is that when it comes to Em and Tech, they're both MC's that don't know how to lose. In fact, that's the only thing that has brought them to where they are right now. They simply don't lose. They both collaborate under the pretense of "If I leave room for someone to spit after me, I haven't done my job." They hear what they're up against, and always make sure to top it even if just slightly. They see to it that you will most likely change the song after their verse. Due to this, it has no choice but to build like cancer until they decide it's time for the song to end. It's quite literally fire vs. fire.

Bottom line, Tech N9ne = the complete technique of rhyme. 9 being the number of completion. Meaning he brings everything to the table. But the fact is that while he may come close, he doesn't provide everything. It's just a fun thought. Em's walking around with the rest of the circle. And this track will be us seeing the absolute pinnacle of what hiphop has conjured by this point.

Nah I agree with him. There's no way this track will be bad. Em on So Lonely would have made that one of my favorite songs ever. I hope this next one will be as good. Em's not gonna spit a silly verse with Tech.

I still don't feel the "So Lonely" track. Don't know why he wanted Em on that.
Em would have been much better on "Am I A Pscyco"
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Maybe Crook, he'd have the biggest chance of knowing him out of any of the SH members.

Yeah Lynch and Crook know each other for sure lol. Which is cool because Tech already knows all of Slaughterhouse and I believe he's done a song with each member except for Joe.

No.

So Lonely is, as Tech describes it, a song for him and Em about being the best rappers in the game and they're So Lonely up at the top, asking themselves, "where is everybody else?"

It's perfect.

Oh, the song is about that? That's a dope concept :o Gonna relisten to the song now

Well Tech does sequels to his music a lot.

Psycho Bitch, Psycho Bitch II and now a rumoured Psycho Bitch III

Fuck The Industry and FTI 2

Midwest Choppers, Midwest Choppers II, Worldwide Choppers, now a rumoured Worldwide Choppers II

So maybe he'll do a So Lonely II. You never know. That type of concept is what they need to do.

I was unaware of this, so now I'm anxious. But the original beat was fire for em :sweating:

Yea wasn't So Lonely made specifically FOR Em? But when he said he couldnt do it in time Tech probably had to get the other dude on there fast.
