No, considering the recent industry sales. Likes of Bieber and Usher are selling less than 250 K and 130 K respectively in the first week. He'll most probably have the best selling album of the year but I don't think he'll outsell Recovery even if the album has 15 Not Afraids.

No, MMLP would have still sold more than Recovery but wouldn't have sold as much as it actually did. Lyrical rap was still cool back then + shock value of MMLP would have still worked as it was shocking for 2000 lol. Had MMLP been released in 2010, it wouldn't have outsold Recovery.

What am saying is, Eminem HAS to make an album with pop sounding beats + LTWYL kinda singles to outsell Recovery in this era, still it will be a tough task. Or he can pull off a 2000 Eminem and go against the grin and do something that completely catches the mainstream audience off guard just like he did with MMLP (very unlikely, tho).

Eminem has proved he's a powerhouse when it comes to sales, it shouldn't matter to any of you how much he sales nowadays for the simple fact that he has done it multiple times, the actual album content is what matters now... It's boring calculating how much he's going to sale nowadays because you know he is going to sell plenty... what wouldn't be boring is if he actually made made a decent album for once.
