If his primary position is now a striker, seeing him cross a ball is irrelevant. He actually assisted 14 times last season.

Exactly,he was transformed to a striker which is what i hate,he was a winger and genuinely awesome to watch.

Our first pre-season game kicks off in half an hour! I'm looking forward to it. At least the next few games aren't as late! (currently 2am in the UK)

Edit - if anyone's interested in how we're performing in our first pre-season game! :sweating:

First half

We're looking decent. It's great to see Marin and Hazard perform so well in their first 45 playing for Chelsea. Marin brings a burst of energy and creativity to the squad. He deserved his assist for Lukaku, it was a beautiful pass. Hazard has also been awesome, he looks very, very exciting. Albeit defletions, they both deserved their goals. Lukaku has also looked pretty good, he took both goals very well. Defensively we could be much better though. It's been pretty terrible in that regard, but hey, it's our first pre-season game. Josh's assist was also brilliant.

You can have your Ronaldo whatever way you want him,im not gonna argue with you about a guy i hate, plus i didnt have breakfast yet,Happy Ramadan Revo, since you probably do that activity.

and as for pre-season.
Man Utd 1 - 0 Amazulu FC
It was a good game,Berbatov played as a number 10 behind Kiko and Chicha,Kagawa featured for 5 minutes and was good,he waited on the touchline for 15 minutes though, the ball didnt go out of play,Powell did not feature at all,SAF said both will start Saturday.

Also, stayed up for the Chelsea game,Hazard and Marin bring a lot of pace, but Marin seems more a team player than Hazard,Lukaku must be eating Drogba's leftovers, what power he has,Chelsea should rely on Torres/Lukaku/Sturridge no need to buy a third striker.

We've signed Eden's younger brother. This should be interesting.

Agreed with all of this :y:

haha yeah I understand what you say, but if Eminem did the same , I'm sure we would read here the same kind of comments. I have to say Cristiano has a lot of hate here in Spain, maybe because some of his declarations. But I know a person who had a few of interactions with him and he says he seems really nice.

Luka Modric is here in the news 24/7 now. It seems he really wants to go to R. Madrid.

And about what people said about the Euro under 19, actually not many people watch that here , it's sad that they won and in the airport it was pretty much only their family to receive them.

Yeah, people do that, they go too far with loving or hating someone.

I'd do the same if it was Messi tbh. I am tired of those fanboys acting like he is the God (in an extreme way)... just like fanboys of C. Ronaldo, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kanye West... etc.

^^ I didn't see that you mentioned Eminem already. You can post the genuine SajN facepalm.

But actually it's something really good that he or whoever posted that pic , because maybe it can motivate those fanboys to do the same, we know some people would do whatever to look like their idols. And donating blood is something really good. He is also marrow donor. I think he said he doesn't get tattoos because they would prevent him from donating.

he is idolized , no doubt, he is not doing anything extraordinary. But hey in this case it can be for good if someone goes to do the same...

So Chelsea are chucking serious cash around. But not in defence? Where they look weak as hell.

I wouldn't say we're extremely weak at the back, but there's no doubting the fact that it needs to be strengthened. As Lello pointed out, we only really need to bring in a RB. Apparently Azpilicueta confirmed that Chelsea are interested in him, so at least we know the club are definitely after a right back.

Oscar has finally been confirmed! I'm not too sure about spending the reported £25m on him, but we'll see how it panes out. Regardless, we're looking very, very good up front now. Hazard, Marin, Mata, Oscar, Ramires. Torres will be getting some serious service up front.
