Now I'm not a big fan of stirring up controversy just to be controversial, especially by someone at the age of Eminem. However there are controversial things he could say that would be relevant. For example he could bring up Whitney Houston and how everyone makes a big deal over her death when people die everyday, and ultimately it was Houston's fault she died. I'd actually be very interested to hear his take on this since he almost died of OD. What are other things he could bring up as well?

you said relevant, and tbh, all what you said sounds like bs, we need to be talking about the banks and jews, the ppl who always stir up controversy get killed, look at 2pac, michael jackson, they were on the right path to exposin the pope, look at money, money is fuckin fake, it's really about gold, why do u think we have oil probs, motherfuckers don't wan't our "food stamps", they want gold. if you're gonna diss anything, diss the US since we are slaves to the corporate, then THAT would be pushing the limits.

He talked about Casey Anthony in the cypher. It was some controversial thing to say. Plus, Eminem reference goes way back, so he can bring in such controversial topic from any time period. He can even mention about the cannibal act that occurred recently. There are many thing going around in the Hollywood business, like the famous divorces that are taking place.

No, diss the government; the great majority of Americans have nothing to do with that.

I really hope he doesn't start attacking celebrities again.

It would be so contrived...it wouldn't make sense. His statements in the past shocked people, but they weren't necessarily said to shock them. The whole concept of randomly bashing people without any real motivation was really only started around Encore, or at least that's when he no longer really needed to separate himself from the pop stars anymore. He was finally considered to be in a league of his own.

Who does he really need to separate himself from now? He's widely accepted and praised in the mainstream, and he consistently sells more than just about anyone else. He isn't struggling for recognition or respect anymore, so the competitive edge of beef with people isn't really necessary.

As far as making fun of tragedies, why? Because he's an asshole? He's also a little too old to be the rebellious jester, fighting everyone for nothing at all. It made sense once, but now it would just be a man trying to regain something he should have already grown out of and moved on from.

What he needs to do is actually say what he thinks and feels. That's what he did before, regardless of how it was perceived. If he's only good as a hip hop troll, then I think we've all been following the wrong guy. Personally, I think he's more than that. I want to hear what he's thinking, not what he's thinking we want to hear.

I was wondering that too because ever since that thing called Lady Gaga emerged nothing is controversial anymore. NOTHING.

Does he have to be controversial though? Isn't he kind of past that?

I don't think Eminem ever made music to bring changein the world, he always made music that he felt and he lived, that meant something personal to him, and itwasa coincidence that many people related to them. You are asking for him to be a critic of life, to analyse and comment about the news and about what's happening in the general. That's not his style. Stop trying to change the real him

I have a feeling that the Sandusky trial will be a topic in his upcoming album.

This I agree with. At circa 27-years old, he did this stuff. Now a man close to 40, he needs to grow up from that (same with the random bashing of celebrities--which is one reason why We Made You failed).

He would never make fun of a tragedy such as the recent Colorado shooting anymore. Anymore, he usually goes for the obvious celebrities or people who deserve it. He'd never disrespect those 12 people who lost their lives because he's not the same person.
