Favourite Eminem Rhyme Scheme

Postby Brendanoooo » Jul 24th, '12, 22:04

What is yoour favourite rhyme that eminem has done?
Mine is in square dance:
"Let your hair down to the track, yeah kick on back
Boo!, the boogie monster of rap, yeah the man's back
With a plan to ambush this Bush administration
Mush the Senate's face and push this generation
Of kids to stand and fight for the right to say something you might not like
This white hot light that I'm under, no wonder I look so sunburnt"
Or the "Chin Tiki" freestyle on 8 Mile. The whole thing.
Let your hair down to the track, yeah kick on back
Boo!, the boogie monster of rap, yeah the man's back
With a plan to ambush this Bush administration
Mush the Senate's face and push this generation
Of kids to stand and fight for the right to say something you might not like
This white hot light that I'm under, no wonder I look so sunburnt

Mind with no sense in it, fried to get so frenetic
whose eyes get so squinted, I'm blind from smokin 'em
with my windows tinted, with nine limos rented
Doin lines of coke in 'em, with a bunch of guys hoppin out
all high and indo scented (inhales, exhales)
And that's where I get my name from, that's why they call me

The way he ends it and moves on to the chorus is amazing.

Just posting from the top of my mind, there are several others that I like.

In my opinion, no, it's not amazing. Mainly because he ends his line with "that's why they call me" then the hook starts with "they call me"

It's still good, it's just..it kinda bothers me how he repeats it lol.

I mainly meant the breathing part, homie. :y:

Vicodin's like a nitrogen hydrogen vitamin
I bite into five and then I get high as a kite again
I like it when I get in my zone on the mic again
Who am I kidding? I couldn't quit this shit if my life depends
I relapsed twice after I came outta Brighton then
Yeah, rehab's nice, I had my name up in lights again
You see that's why I can't decipher what life I'm in
I might pull a knife on your wife and slice her and dice her then
It sounds so enticing, isn't it nice when I'm hype again?
I'm nice when I'm like this, no time to write just type it in
If I could get my pen to slow down, what'd I write just then?
Man I'm about to hyperventilate, I just have hyper-tension
I have the type of mental state you couldn't comprehend
Unusually stupid of you for you to think I'm your friend
I usually do what I do and suffer no consequence
I offer no mercy, the controversy is once again

:worship: absolutely banoodles.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

And my pre-diction is you're gonna probably fall
Either somewhere in the lobby or the hallway wall
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished
You are now allowed to officially slap bitches

Rock Bottom's 'Percocet/Nervous Wreck/Serve Respect/Worthless Cheque' Rhyme Scheme is one of the best displays of effortless rhyming he's done in his entire career.

Renegade's first verse rhyme scheme.

Lose Yourself's 'Palms are sweaty/Arms are heavy' is a very well known rhyme scheme even for non-rap fans.

My personal favourite would be Bad Meets Evil first verse.

I translate when my voice is read through a seismograph
And a noise is bred, picked up and transmitted through Royce's head
Trap him in his room, possess him and hoist his bed
'til the evilness flows through his blood like poisonous lead
Told him each one of his boys is dead
I asked him to come to the dark side, he made a choice and said
I'm not tryin to be rude, but I sincerely wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth

Animal instinct, cannabalistic, I just ran out of lipstick, man i'm a
twisted, sick, sadistic, son of a bitch
6-6-6, broke his crucifix made out of sticks then fixed it
Chick chick chick chick chick chick chick chick chick
Now play it back-wards muscle relaxers mixed with,
Liquid,
The lie to this delutifar quick fix,
Your delusional illusions look realistic...

THIS, THIS, THIS! :y:

I love this part of Music Box too:

Then climb in slow to shatter, her brain matter and batter her
With a bat a matter of fact that will splatter her
But before I do that, I'll have a chat to flatter her
Give her two compliments back to back like Tabitha
I'm your secret admirer, I'm back to ravish ya
So strong is your fight, but you're no match for Dracula
Prolonging her plight, as I go back to stabbin' her
Dismember her limbs, simple as that, cadaver her
Zoom in with the lens, then pan back the camera
Stand back cause here comes your man, Jack, so Pamela

Anyway I wonder sometimes how people appreciate more 8 Mile lyrics than LY lyrics. Lose Yourself verses are absolutely extremal in terms of rhyme schemes, effortless rhyming.

High on? What'd you say, trick? What am I on?
Two tubes of airplane glue and a can of Krylon
Eatin' a crayon, settin' fire to rayon
Flamin' the nylons of two white lesbians screamin', "Die, blondes"
Strike matches on white patches of dry lawns
And I run and jump right in front of the fire hydrants
Five blunts, and you expect me to die once
With nine lives, fuckin' chickens in front of my blind wives?
Suicidal, my friends tell me to try knives
You wanna mess with a mothafucka who skydives
Out of a plane to give the Statue of Liberty high fives?
Doin' drive-bys and miss you with five tries
It's Slim Shady and BET and Big Tigger, all y'all see me flee

This,
Menzo wrote:I thoroughly enjoy the rhyme scheme of his entire "Bully" track. Very interesting.

this, and this:

My thoughts are sporadic, I act like I’m an addict
I rap like I’m addicted to smack like I’m Kim Mathers.
But I don’t want to go forth and back in constant battles
The fact is I would rather sit back and bomb some rappers.
So this is like a full blown attack I’m launching at them
The track is on some battling raps who want some static
'Cause I don’t really think that the fact that I’m Slim matters
A plaque of platinum status is whack if I'm not the baddest.
