Eminem mixed 50's new single ''New Day''

Postby Francesco » Jul 28th, '12, 09:30

50's new single ''New Day'' feat. Dr.Dre & Alicia Keys supposed to be produced by Swizz Beatz but on Thisis50.com it says Dre produced it & EM mixed it.
EM fucking had to be on it too imo, if anything it's way better than ''Crack a bottle' as a first single & would def be a massive hit with all 3 of 'em again.

I hate Swizz Beats' tourettes-sydrome-like beats. The song is nothing special. And Dre was about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike on that song.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

Interscope/G-unit confirmed Dre is the official producer & EM mixed it. I think Swizz Beatz had the original beat then Dre added live drums & then EM mixed it & added sound effects to it. I think Dre sounds dope on it too, he's G-Funk & was never lyrical anyway, way far from that plus it's clearly a radio single so lyrical content is the last thing buyers would be interesting about. EM writes a lot of Dre's shit but he always does it like laid back West Coast G-Funk shit as it'd be ridiculous for Dre to come lyrical on a song.
