Dre alone could easily feed EM with beats to work on for more than just 3 days but I personally think they work mostly on 50's album now to get it outta the way if EM is coming after. Not just mixing that song but mixing anything that would make the cut in general. Of course since they announced EM started to write & record for his next album they def have worked on that too, or at least prepared for it.
On another note there are plenty legendary & dope producers in LA apart Dre & Khalil but I don't think EM's next album is gonna have as many different producers as there were on ''Recovery''
Apart Dre, I personally prefer EM to work with LA based producers like DJ Quick, DJ Muggs, Daz or Warren G rather than Khalil but it's just my humble opinion.

Definitely. He was there with a mission. Something prompted him to go there apart from just mixing 50's song, he could have done that elsewhere, but why L.A? He surely had some words with Dre for some beats or maybe in the worst case scenario he went there to ghost write for Dre.

Dre barely leaves LA in the working process of any project or if he does they mostly isolate themselves from the public & the media in Hawaii. When they did "Relapse'' they isolated themselves in Vegas and then in Miami to avoid the big drama when EM was coming back from that long hiatus.
This time Dre takes big part in 50's album so a lot of the stuff EM would be mixing are Dre beats & that's why he gotta go to LA. They stopped sending beats through the net after those leaks, esp. ones that would be on official albums.
It was the same with 50's first two albums, Dre had big part in 'em so they wrapped them up in LA. Then 50 & Dre were on bad terms so the 3rd & the 4th album were all done in Detroit ' & Dre almost wasn't part of 'em.
It's true Dre flew to Detroit like couple of times too, but overall EM's flown like hundreds of times to LA to start or finish all those personal or other artists' projects in Dre's studio.
Apart that, Dre produced couple of beats for that Slaughterhouse album, plus K Dot album is coming soon too & the hype for it is beyond crazy so even apart Dre & EM personal projects they had a lot to work on, let alone if they work on whatever Dre stuff or EM's next album.
If it's EM recording, it'd be easy 'cuz he'd be just picking beats outta Dre's vault & would be recording on 'em, but if it's like wrapping up or doing final touches on anything, Dre could be extremely slow.
