I just finished listening to De La Soul is Dead, I can appreciate their work, but I gotta be honest and say I'm not a fan of what I listened to, it's like half the album is talking, some beats, and some rapping which is not all that, but this album is appreciated by so many people and treated like a classic, so I guess it's not just for me

Thanks for giving it a listen man, and for your honest response as well. And yeah, this isn't something that you would bump on the regular, but I think it's important to give it a look, and now you'll know part of that era a bit better, and at least you'll know how you feel about it. Cause there's always the chance that you're going to love it, so it's better than not giving it a chance at all, and missing an opportunity.

yeah, I was not disappointed I checked it out, I really know very little bout old school hip-hop, if it wasn't for San Andreas I wouldn't even know about N.W.A and all that great music
