Random... the more i listen to My Life the more i realize how AWFUL the mixing on that song is. Maybe he did it intentionally to sound like the other songs on Top 40. He is a good producer as evidenced by TES but i hope his production skills have been rediscovered by working on this album.

Well, I'm not going to complain about that question 'cause it made me smile, but yeah...it's like, especially with someone like Em who likes to give these short, 10-15 minute radio interviews, you should really pick and choose your questions carefully. I didn't have any real issues with this guy's questions other than not asking about D12, though. He asked about why Em was at Dre's house [and Em dodged the question, the sneaky bastard], whether Em's working on his solo album, if it has a date yet, whether he'll do another movie soon, etc. All of those are good questions, good topics, stuff the fans want to hear.

Yeah that's true, and he asked about the album, but after Em said "I've started but I'm not fully into it" he shoulda said, "well do you have a specific direction you're going this time around? Is it gonna be similar to a previous album or something brand new?". Even if Em dodged the question, I'd still like it to be asked, just to know the guy's trying lol.

Well, I could probably answer that one. He'd just say that he always tries to avoid musically doing things he's done before and he never wants his music to sound like something he'd done previously.

I think hes keeping shtum on his album due to the release of SH. If hes been toying/ starting his album for the last month or so hes done abit in the studio. Not a chance hes gonna say yeh my albums this n that when hes got the SH release which it seems hes put alot of effort into.

Since he's come back he's obviously been trying to be more calm and humble, and he's read (or at least there is a picture of him reading) How to Win Friends and Influence People, so I think he intentionally undermines his own ability on a lot of things, just to deflect attention.

Any true intellect can read between the lines and see that Em is a sharp, wise guy - he plays a lot of it down and casually deflects most things but, it's obvious.

You mention the fact he's been pictured reading How to Win Friends and Influence People but this picture is extremely old. Definitely pictured around the time of one of the Anger Management Tours or just before 2004, and clearly it's meant as a way for Em to poke fun at his critics (in The Way I Am book it's just before the section on his anger issues...[from memory]) so hardly a sign he's being more calm and humble

He obviously undermines himself a lot, but at the same time is happy to say how big his dick is. It's just his sense of humour!

He's read the dictionary, and is the first rapper I know to use 'truculent' in a rap. I think everyone knows how sharp he is: especial from a comedic perspective.

LOL. Yeah I think the story was a journalist interviewing him gave him the book to take a picture with for the article he/she was writing. They thought it would be funny because of all the enemies he was making with his songs making fun and dissing people.

How the fuck the guy is going to try to act humble and clueless after reading a self-help book? But if people want to over analyze things , I remember him saying he doesn't read books.
