Was it crazy not to release So Bad as a Single?

Postby AmmoHaze » Aug 2nd, '12, 15:08

This is my fave hook ever i mean it's as catchy as you can get but catchy in the most positive way and the verses were very good judging it on the type of song it was a fun chill song.

It wasn't. Good track but it's the most boring song on the album for me with this repeating chorus and sound overall.

So Bad is in my top 5 on recovery but it's not single material.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

So Bad is one of my favs from Recovery but it would have done poorly as a single.

I must be like the only Stan that dislikes So Bad, it's like equivalent to the goofy Encore songs for me! I dont like the Dre beat either & the lyrics are so sub-standard for Em...It seems like a Encore leftover  it is my least fave track on Recovery, I wish he had put Ridaz or I Need A Doctor instead...That is, of course whether INAD was recorded by the time the album was submitted, what a waste of a single between Em & the Doc! Dont get me started on leaked tracks such as Fly Away, Cocaine, The Apple, GOAT, All She Wrote (solo) or even a BME track like Echo or Take From Me

No, but it was crazy to not release "Cinderella Man" as one.

I personally don't think so. The single choices were pretty great on Recovery. Not Afraid was a great first single, Love the Way you Lie was a great second single, No Love was a great third single and Space Bound (even though it came too late) was a good fourth single.

He probably hesitated a lot though, maybe he wanted Cinderella Man and Won't Back Down as singles too so that's why we hear them a lot in movies or video games or I don't know. Kinda like, trying to make them sell without having them as singles.

I agree those singles wouldn't have been successful but I feel like every Eminem album should produce 5 singles, not just 4!

I could imagine "Cinderella Man" in a boxing type video lol.

So Bad would of been a great 5th or even the 4th single taking the place of Space Bound.
Does anyone else think that Talking 2 Myself would have been a great single too? However I'd have to disagree with the fact that Cindarella Man is worthy enough for being a hit.

^I think Talkin To Myself would've been a great single, I think almost every song could've been a single except So Bad lol & WTP wouldn't be suitable due to the title only :facepalm I feel like WBD, GTC, Seduction, Cinderella Man, 25 To Life, Almost Famous, YNO all were potential single caliber :b:
