They meant the first full week, it was rumored about August 9-10. But it could be the 14th, two weeks before the album and then we could hear the final single on the 21st to build up the hype for the release.

I really really hate when artists do that...why can't they just say "the mixtape drops on ____?" Why does it have to be as vague as "the first week of August?"

Cause it gave them space. If they could have released it last week, it would have been first week of August. Now they still can say this is the first (full) week. And if it drops on next Tuesday, they still can say it was only two days late.

Lol @ can't they just say it drops on... *whatever*. They said WT:OH would drop on 05.15. then 06.12. then July. So what's the point? First week or August 9 doesn't mean anything unless shit actually drops. I don't care anymore, it drops when it drops.

Okay, why lol at "can't they just say it drops on...?" You know you agree with me. It's retarded as fuck why artists don't put their DONE music out. These mixtape songs are DONE, they have no reason to keep them. If the music isn't done, then they don't need to say shit. Simple as that. Announce a date when it's done, don't wait until the week before the release date to change it.

Fuck, I can't wait :worship: :worship:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I completely agree with you and I'm not laughing at you. I said 'lol @' because it was funny to read that you'd give credit to anything about a 'definite' release date after all the bullshitting from May up to this very day. I'd rather be able to download the mixtape out of the blue than wait for a release date that is most likely not valid.

My policy from now on is this: if they release the tape and it's dope then fine and I'll concentrate on what's good and fuck the bad history. If they have the audacity to fuck fans over again and they will not tell us a word and there will be no mixtape 'til the end of this week then everything Slaughter related is download-only for me. Unless the booklet has the lyrics because that would make me buy it anyway.

the mixtape might come out of nowhere. there not mentioning it because they don't want the tape buzz to out weight the album buzz.. maybe? ..idk.. i'm positive the album will be great, but NOT getting this mixtape will still be a big let down.
