Yeah I'm wondering what she means by alternative club banger.

alternative club banger sounds like this electro that all pop stars seem to be doing nowadays...I just hope their collabs end in this one and that's it, having pink for a third song for Em's new album sounds tiring and repetitive.

The word "alternative" gives me hope after seeing the words "club banger".

My guess is it will have a club banger beat, but very personal lyrics.

How do we know he hasn't already done a track with Tech yet? They might talked about it last week or whatever and they're staying hush hush on it

We can only speculate on what we know.

Yeah and I think she said that intentionally so people won't over think what the song might sound like.

Something like "So What" would be cool haha.

That's such a fucking awesome News. I hope that he actually raps in this and doesn't end up doing the hook. The title is confusing, makes me wonder what he'll rap about, maybe something like WTP. Wont Back Down was badass and was really lyrical. I think most of don't realize that, that's why there's so much hate on the song. P!nk did her part exceptionally well on that song. Her hook was rebellious, aggressive and energetic. It's was definitely one of the best hooks on Recovery. Al though it could have been made a little better(Eminem's part on the song), still I like it.

I sincerely hope that it turns out something like this. This is really dope.

It is part of a musical trade after Pink sang on his last album.
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Pink was awesome on the Won't Back Down hook. I definitely welcome another collab.

By the way, just putting this out there, but you guys know Pink is married, with a baby, right? If nothing else, that would be a good reason for her and Em not to "hook up" lol.

Also, when I read the title of this thread, I have to say I groaned, but with it being on HER album instead of his, I think it might work out and not be annoying, lol. And anyway, rappers (and not just Pitbull lol) do shit like this all the time, like Snoop and Katy Perry, or Kanye and Katy Perry... I think Em gets a disproportionate amount of hate for being the rap part of a pop song, whereas Kanye (for example) gets away with it (and his verse on ET was dumb as shit). Idk... The whole thing makes me cringe a little, because it just doesn't seem "like" Em, or like the image I have of what Em should be, but then again.... I don't know him. So who knows why he does what he does, or if he's being sincere or not.

Is it because she curses, screams half of her songs and adopted the tired practice of trash talking and making fun of other pop stars? I guess if she runs around constantly saying I'm not like the others some people will ignore the fact that she's cut from the same cloth.

Pink was famous before any of those people you mentioned, aside from Gwen Stefani.

I think that speaks more about her originality. She was an influence on those people, if anything. Pop music around the time Pink came up was a very different place than it is now. She was very different than her counterparts, and the fact that there are now artists that are similar to her just shows how relevant she was able to remain after Pop took a nosedive during the rise of hip hop.

I was comparing her to them because to me she is "currently" pop especially the beat on her new song. When she first came out she was more R & B. I think the new girls are influenced by the same women Pink was: Cyndi Lauper, Madonna etc. Blondie/Debbie Harry before them. You have to go a long way back to find originality.
