I feel confident ever since the interview that he is actually gonna start working on it heavily and have an album out sooner than we think. He basically said now he's gonna have time to work on it after SH drops.

I have a feeling it will be early next year. Unless he rushes the album it wont be this year for sure. And he does not want release it same time as 50 is.

We'll have the album by March at the latest imo, and a single this fall.

With his past two albums, we've had singles 1-2 months before the album date; so if it comes out in March, we probably won't see a single until early 2013.

I think he has done the NYC show because of the japan show. think about it, Gshock is a japanese company, and probably, it is going to be sponsoring his japan show.
so he has done this show as a part of some kind of a deal with them.

honestly i don't see the album coming this year. probably mid/late 2013. i'm in the US so i don't care about his japan tour. he should just use that time to work on music. (japan has no effect on hiphop culture IMO)

I quite agree with Geno, I think we will have the album sooner than what we think. I don't believe that he is just "starting to toy" with the new album.
Anyway as long as it's a great album, i don't mind the wait.
