For those of you who are planning on buying the SH album

how many of you are only getting it because of the Eminem involvement? I still don't know if I will get it, but if I did, it would most likely be due to Eminem's involvement. I didn't get their first album, and probably never will, but I will probably get this one. It's nothing against SH. They're great from what I've heard. It's weird. I would never get their album, but since it Shady, I probably will.
Same went for Yelawolf. I never had any interest in his pre-Shady stuff, but I still got Radiactive. And enjoyed it for the most part. And it's not like I only listen to it for the Eminem songs. I actually thought the few songs he was a part of weren't that good. I don't know.

I guess I'm just curious, how many who are buying the SH album would have gotten it if they hadn't signed to Shady? I'm sure many would, as their names have come up a lot with Eminem fans even before the whole Shady thing, but ahgd;ahsgjnafdo;ngnaksfg

I'm probably buying it because I can't wait for Joell and Joe's verses. And Crooked too, I don't really care about Royce.

I'll listen to the full mixtape too, even without Em. I heard 'On fire' by them, was hooked. And when they were signed, I really started listening to their projects.

I knew Yela before the shady deal, liked 2/3 songs but not more. He signed, still wasn't really impressed. And one day.. I heard Trunk Muzik, Love is not enough and Marijuana. Now he's in my top 5 lol.

Long story short, I listen to them thanks to Em (SH) but i won't buy it 'for' him.

wasn't going to buy it anyway cos not a fan of them but when i heard Eminem was producing it i was really excited to hear some new production from him and was gonna listen to it online but since he barley producing on it not even gonna listen online aside from the 3 tracks he on.

To be fair he is barley involved he just producing a skit and featured on 3 tracks yeah but it's not like the major involvement he had on other shady albums which he mostly produced like Cheers for example and done a lotta hooks on and some verses. Yeah it is true alot just bought an album like Cheers cos of Eminem heavy involment from production to hooks to a verses but i really think once they heard it they appreciated Obie and the chemistry of how great hesounded over Em's dopest beats and the blend of Obie lyrics with Em's harmonizing. I think Slughterhouse have issues putting out good songs and getting away from sounding like Freestyle/cypher style rap so even if say Em produced most of it i don't think the fans would buy into it like past projects.

I got their first album from 2009 ** signed by royce...and the ep,I was a fan from street hop album (royce s album) and when In 2011 they signed by eminem Im totaly going crazy cause em is my favorite artist xD so im definily buying this album..

I honestly don't know if a slaughterhouse fan exists. Like I don't know ANYYY slaughterhouse fans at all. I feel like they have the talent, but since they're associated with Em they are living off of his publicity.
