no no no.
let me help you seperate song content, lyricism, delivery
lyrics = strictly the WAY things are expressed/worded
song content = what is said in songs

It's your opinion that a song from Nas new album is better but i disagree i have not heard a song on there as good as Going Through Changes. I heard Banks Mixtape like him but just wasn't impressed like that lyrics nothing special and the hooks average where as i felt Recovery was the complete package of great lyrics, relating, really catchy hooks but i will say production was not good..
no no no.
let me help you seperate song content, lyricism, delivery
lyrics = strictly the WAY things are expressed/worded. you yourself said it was simple, therefore it would be an example of rather basic lyricism. this is regardless of the message of the song. good lyricism remains good and the words remain well phrased whether the point of the song is politics or lunchbreak. therefore its possible to have good lyrics but not good content in the same song
song content = what is said in songs .. this is regardless of how well/in what way it is said.. you can have 3rd grade lyrics that hardly rhyme at all and still make a song about politics. good content, not good lyrics
delivery = the way the lyrics are performed. yelling is a form of delivery.. you can have great delivery but garbage lyrics and garbage content
i hope that, if you take this into account, you realize that nas's album, whether you prefer it to eminems stuff or not, is lyrically superior, and that is hardly even a subjective opinion unless you define basic lyrics as "better"
banks lyrics are nothing special? i doubt you even know what you're talking about. his delivery might not be great at times (hooks either, though he got some dope ass ones), but lyrically hes easily one of the best right now, not only my opinion either

Understand?
Yeah, but apparently you don't. To some people, GTC is nothing more than a great emotional track. They might feel that something incredibly lyrical with fast flows and quick delivery like "Worldwide Choppers" (I seen it mentioned) is a better definition of "Hip-Hop", or at least it's better fitting with their definition.
Musical aesthetics are entirely subjective. You know those lists of Top 100 Verses by Eminem, Jay-Z, Kanye, etc ? How come not everybody agrees with those lists? Probably because 1 person wrote it.That's 1 opinion. No one is going to agree 100% with something like that.
You know how many hip-hop songs have been released since 2010? There's lots of music to go through and it's pretty unfair to say it's the best song out there without hearing everything there is to be heard. If it's your favourite song since 2010, then great. I love it too.
